1. Favorite place? Enjoying the Florida sunshine with my kids.

2. Best Christmas present? My daughter was born right before Christmas, I consider her my best Christmas present ever!

3. Favorite book(s)? I fall in love with new books constantly! The two most recent that I couldn’t put down were Warm Bodies and Gone Girl.

4. Favorite author? Changes all the time. Lately it’s been Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, Issac Marion, and Gillian Flynn

5. Favorite smell? fresh baked bread

6. Favorite TV series? Once Upon a Time

7. Nickname? The Cliffhanger Queen

8. Favorite writing spot? My cushy chair in my bedroom.

9. Favorite movie? Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Or any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Or Guardians of the Galaxy.

10. Favorite food? sushi

11. Favorite color? blue

12. Favorite quote? Writing is the socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.

 There is nothing worse than being put on the spot and asked to talk about yourself. For me it brings back that inevitable moment in a new school when the teacher would ask me to stand up, introduce myself and tell the class something about myself. I was always worried I would blurt out something stupid that I would get teased for. Something like, “My name’s Stacey and I like pickles!” Then for the rest of the school year I’d be known as the Pickle Girl and let’s be honest, no one wants that. So to avoid such a faux pas I will simply say that I love to write. It allows me to get my crazy out just enough that I can function as a normal member of society.
